lavera Natural Beauty - Quality with Seal
We manufacture our Natural Beauty products in the Hanover region. There, we have built a complete competence and value chain through years of work.
As a manufacturer, we are certified according to various ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, IFS HPC, RSPO). This allows us to ensure the highest standards and quality at every step from production to recycling. In doing so, we continuously work to conserve resources and treat people and nature with respect.
RSPO - Responsible Palm Oil Cultivation
We are committed to sustainable RSPO palm oil cultivation and support ecological farming methods in rainforest areas through our RSPO membership since 2018. RSPO (Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil) ensures transparency from cultivation to the final product.
Since August 2022, every lavera product containing palm oil or palm kernel oil derivatives is RSPO MB certified. We do not use pure palm oil, but only RSPO-MB palm oil derivatives (MB = mass balance), for which there are no more sustainable alternatives from other oils yet.
Green through and through - GREEN BRAND
For the award as the European Warranty Brand GREEN BRAND, every step of the value chain is evaluated in a three-stage, external review process: raw material sourcing, suppliers, transport routes, research and development, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, disposal of empty packaging, and product design.
Only if a brand consistently delivers exemplary, sustainable work everywhere does GREEN BRAND award the coveted seal. lavera has been GREEN BRAND since 2012 – our environmental performance was rated outstandingly at 90%.
