Lukewarm water can regulate your body temperature much better in the heat than an ice-cold shower. However, if you just want to refresh yourself briefly in between, cold water is suitable.
The coolest place in your home: the refrigerator!
Did you know that it is the ideal storage place for your cosmetic products? Because in addition to essentials like After Sun care, eye care, and sheet masks, you can also store a facial care spray and a cooling eye roll-on in the refrigerator. Just put them in the fridge overnight, spray on in the morning, and start refreshed!
A facial care spray is a true all-rounder because it fits in any bag and provides an extra freshness boost throughout the day. You can apply it over makeup and spray it on easily, whether you are at the lake or in the city.
Summer care: prepare your skin for the sun
Are you a true sun worshipper? Then you can already make sure your skin tans evenly while in the shower. This works best when your skin has an even surface. Simply use a loofah sponge or a shower scrub.
A gentle shower scrub with natural exfoliating particles made from olive stones is also suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It helps you gently remove old skin cells and gives your skin a fresh scent while showering. We recommend using a scrub especially before applying self-tanners to achieve an evenly tanned complexion later.

Especially when exfoliating your whole body, a thorough massage feels particularly good and can also promote circulation.
Our tip for keeping a cool head
If you want to keep a cool head in the summer, you should avoid exposing it to the sun constantly. A sun hat can help here. A lightweight straw hat is especially recommended in summer. If you want to cool down even more, wear your hair in a bun hidden under the hat. Alternatively, you can twist your hair under the headwear so that your neck is free and gets some air.
Pro tip: To protect your sensitive scalp from the sun, we recommend styling your hair without a parting. For example, you can comb it back into a ponytail. This way, the sun doesn’t hit your scalp directly.
Fresh makeup in summer
With our tips, you don’t have to give up a fresh complexion and great colors even in hot temperatures. When applying makeup in summer, especially pay attention to the following points: Let your day care fully absorb before applying your makeup, as this will make it last longer. You can use the time between applying your skincare and putting on makeup for practical things like brushing your teeth, preparing breakfast, or getting dressed. Also, you should opt for a light makeup look to ensure everything stays in place even at 30 degrees Celsius and above. A facial care spray can additionally set your makeup look – and at the same time provide a quick cooling effect.

So swap your powder blush for a cream product and give your lips an extra dose of care with a fresh lip gloss.

The right skincare in summer is important! Because in summer, your skin's needs change. The sun can dry out your skin, so it needs more moisture. And as lovely as the sun is, it can cause fine and deep wrinkles to form on your skin. You can counteract this with moisturizing ingredients in your cosmetics.
